Grittim
What is light without darkness? Here, wicked atmospheres, vicious and viscous basslines, and an obsession around rhythm and groove inform the sonic pallete. Melding steezy hip hop and metal roots with experimental electronic production, Grittim is a multi-instrumentalist and bass music producer from Denver, CO currently living in Brooklyn, NY.

Grittim draws on influences from the heavy, the grim, the glitchy, and the trippy - curating an immersive experience in his productions and sound sets.As a fan of both the hybrid trap movement and the dark aesthetics of deep dubstep, he brings a sound that tastefully pushes envelopes beyond their expected boundaries, while being emotionally authentic.

His background as both guitarist and bassist fuels his ability to take non-traditional approaches to melody, rhythm, and groove. As a live musician, he appreciates the high-energy experiences shared between performers and audiences. From the slams and heaviness of mosh pits, to the groove and swagger of hip hop, to psychedelic sound design inspired by a spread of electronic genres, the energy he brings is always fun and intense.

His aim: raise the vibration by uniting people through raw expression and common appreciation of life and dance. Fans can keep up with Grittim as he continues to unveil this new world through his releases and live shows.
