KUNG FU - The literal translation is “skill, art, labor, effort." Often translated as “achievement through great effort.” It is used for both martial arts and tea ceremonies to refer to the practice of cultivation of skills over time. The Producer Dojo artists on this compilation focused on making a song that draws inspiration from the concept of Kung Fu incorporating Mad Zach’s “Taikung sound pack.” This EP features music by Cryptochronica, Stan Stanev, Leo Light Work, Sharrol Kelby and Munchii.

Cryptochronica, ”This song was an exploration of martial movements through dance. Combining the heavy hitting prose of rapper Mellay with the speaker - flexing bass design of Cryptochronica this track is sure to get you kicking, bopping and karate-chopping with every listen.”

Stan Stanev,”The song is about being so mesmerized by someone that they become a part of you. You feel alive when they are with you and can't spend a moment without them.”

Leo Light Work,”This song is a story about love, loss, perseverance, strength, and resilience. On our path, we will find ourselves experiencing the highest of highs along with the lowest of lows, but may we find power and have faith in knowing that life is always happening for us, giving us the resolve to continue moving forward, towards our highest vision that we have for ourselves. “

Munchii,”Terra Cotta Soldier is named after the army of 8,000 clay soldiers kept in the tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China, from around 200 BC. These soldiers were made to protect the emperor in his afterlife and each one carried a weapon and was the size of a real person. The solemn mysticism around the flute, paired with gritty basses and ever-changing atmospheres feel like they depict the life of a holy warrior whose responsibility is sacred yet everlasting.”
